AAUW Rockford Area Affiliate STEM Scholarships

The Rockford Area Branch of AAUW is pleased to award STEM college scholarships to deserving self-identified women residents who are high school seniors enrolled in a public or private Winnebago, Boone or Ogle Country school. These students will study in the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) fields. In 2024, AAUW Rockford will offer four STEM Scholarships to high school students.

In addition, two STEM Scholarships will be awarded for post-secondary STEM self-identified women students who are currently enrolled at an HLC accredited college or university (such as Rock Valley College or Rockford University.)

Award Application deadline is March 25, 2024

The AAUW Rockford Area STEM Scholarship is open for self-identified female STEM students enrolled in their senior year at a Winnebago, Boone or Ogle County public or private high schools.

2024 AAUW STEM Scholarship Flyer

The AAUW Post-Secondary STEM Scholarship is open to self-identified female STEM students who have officially completed at least 12 credit hours at and HLC accredited college or university  (such as Rock Valley College or Rockford University.)
