In principle and practice, AAUW values and seeks a diverse membership. There shall be no barriers to full participation in this organization on the basis of gender, race, creed, age, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, or class.
The AAUW community breaks through educational and economic barriers so all women have a fair chance. Your membership makes AAUW’s powerful voice even stronger on critical issues affecting women and girls.
Membership is open to anyone holding an associate or equivalent (RN), baccalaureate or higher degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
Student Affiliation is open to anyone who does not already hold an undergraduate degree and is enrolled in a two-or four-year regionally accredited educational institution.
New or Regular Branch Member – member pays Branch, State and Association dues yearly. Membership year is July 1 through June 30.
Paid Life Member – Branch member pays the current amount for Association dues multiplied by 20. Paid Life Members are exempt from further payment of Association dues, but Paid Life Members must continue to pay Branch and State dues.
Honorary or 50-year Life Member – Honorary Life Members have been members for 50 or more years. The 50 years need not be consecutive. Honorary Life Members are thereafter exempt from payment of Association, State and Branch dues.

By joining at an AAUW event, new members get a break of half-price for national only (-$36) which would be a total of $63.00. New members and guests are always welcome to come to Branch meetings.
