Melis Dik

Melis Dik

Melis Dik is graduating from Auburn High School ranking first in her class of 299 students in the Gifted Academy. Melis was active at Auburn in many organizations including Key Club (President), Math Team, Model UN, and Scholastic Bowl (Captain). She also volunteered over 600 hours in many community organizations.  Melis is going to study Biochemical Science at Johns Hopkins University where she hopes to eventually serve an organization akin to Doctors without Borders.
Alison Lawrence is graduating from Hononegah High School as a Scholar Athlete being in the top 3 of her class of 490 students. Alison was active in many school groups including Cross Country, Track & Field, Student Council and National Youth Leadership Summit.  She has volunteered on many trips including Tanzania where she found her passion at the Plaster House surgery. Alison will be studying Pre-Medicine at Augustana College.

Hsing-Yng “Winnie” Louh

Hsing-Yng “Winnie” Louh

Hsing-Yng “Winnie” Louh is graduating from Hononegah High School at the top of her class of 490 students with perfect national testing scores. Winnie was active in school and community activities including Class President all four years, Math Team Worldwide Youth in Science and Engineering, and Tennis. Winnie is also a percussionist for the Rockford Symphony Youth Orchestra. Winnie will be studying Statistics at Rice University.
 Alicia Repka is graduating from Hononegah High School in the top three of her class of 490 as a National Merit Finalist, and NIC-10 Scholar Athlete. Alicia was active in many school organizations including Cross Country, Math Team (President), Materials Science Engineering Camp (U of I) and Stanford Pre-Collegiate Engineering Program.  Alicia will study Biomedical Engineering at Washington University where she will prepare to design prosthetics and implants.
